I think I'm still the only one who has this, but just in case, I've stumbled upon a YouTube channel where a guy has put together some entertaining and informative videos on how to play the game.  Called "Marvel vs Capcom 3 Online Warrior" my favorite episodes are the "Assist Me" episodes where he focuses on a specific character (typically bringing in someone to cosplay as him/her) and both hijinks and tutorials ensue. My favorite so far is the rap battle from the end of the most recent episode which I've attached below.

Ah, *sigh*, GOD what a great game :). I've played Street Fighter, grew up on Mortal Kombat 2, and Ultimate; spent a summer playing Xmen vs Street fighter and Primal Rage (local arcade), and then from highschool through college played Marvel vs Capcom 1 as well as Marvel Superheroes vs Street Fighter. Finally, MvC2 at game nights!

And yet - through all of that - I would still only ever have described myself as a casual fighter-game player. Marvel vs Capcom 3 was the FIRST game that made me really want to learn how to play fighting games *WELL*. The mindgames, the comboes, the instincts and skills that permeate every aspect of the gameplay. Just as surely as Tetris Attack, Portal, Ikaruga, and F-Zero GX taught me whole new aspects of genres I'd played before - MvC3 opened my eyes to the depth of fighting games.

Me and Sean must have played a hundred rounds of this - though I never owned it or had the chance to 'properly' train. I'd have to say Dante was the character I most wanted to improve at. I was playing Devil May Cry 3 at the time - pretty damn impressive how you could pull off stylish comboes with him in both games :)! But yeah - Dante/Sentinel/Hulk  or Ryu/Sentinel/Hulk was my dream team at the end...with the occasional switch to Trish instead of Ryu when Sean's Chun Li became unberable.

Good times :). Wish I had a console to own this game on.
