The 2017 PreSeason information is now available

Coming next year to League of Legends:

• Changes to Ranked Queues
• Replays and Practice Tools (Things that have only been asked for since the game was released damn it)
• New Stand-alone client that makes the pre-game client and in-game client the same program (not some Adobe AIR dead platform driven thing)
• Assassins are getting a HUGE rework, meaning many of my favorite champions like Katarina, Kha'Zix, Rengar, Zed, and Akali.  This also involves turning Armor Penetration in to "Lethality" - a stat that does basically the same thing but scales the % of armor ignored with target's level, meaning it's less snowbally.   They are also reworking stealth a bit again.   This also results in the creation of a new Ward Type: Control wards that don't see invisible champs, but DO disable enemy wards and traps in range.
• Big Jungle changes.  New Fruits will appear that perform the role smiting specific camps do now.  Big camps (Red & Blue buff) will loss their smaller minions so they are easier to take alone.
• And of course new items.

I'm mostly excited for these changes, though anytime they say they are going to touch Katarina I get nervous.  I still need to dig deep into the changes for her and others specifically but these could be fun changes.

This week's Team Fight Breakdown is a clinic on how you EVERYONE can get involved in the bot lane early.

Holy crap the amount of teaching these Team Fight Breakdowns do.

Again:  If you watch no other best of 5 series of League of Legends in 2016, this series between ROX Tigers and SK Telecom T1 was the best.

Breakdown on the new Katarina changes.   I'm going to miss the burst but I think this update will make her more fun to play overall.

That is a very neat dagger mechanic.

In what is probably the last Team Fight Breakdown of the year, Jatt covers split pushing and late game items form the finals.

LeBlanc's upcoming changes.  These are pretty huge.  Much like I said with Kat, I feel like these changes will make her less 100% to 0 in 0.5 seconds, but in exchange may make her more fun to play with the tricks you can play on your foes.
