He definitely seems like a cool villain :). But then, if he was a Lich, surely he can't be perma-killed?

Nah he's pretty dead. I haven't done the boss fight (I still want to do that before I stop playing WoW) but pretty sure he's gone.

He's sort of a neat villian. Too bad he's pretty much a Kerrigan rip-off. There are some things that Warcraft steals from Starcraft plot wise and then Starcraft steals from Warcraft that is actually getting kind of annoying.

EDIT: Okay I was curious and took a look into what happens with the death of the Lich King. It sounds like Arthas is dead. However by saying the "Lich King" was killed is a bit of a question. Remember, Ner'zhul is the Lich King. Yes they said Arthas and Ner'zhul fused together as "one entity" at one point which is why Arthas's form is refered to as the Lich King but it's speculated that Arthas just surpressed Ner'zhul's personality to the point where he no longer mattered. With Arthas dead, Ner'zhul the Lich King might in fact still exist.

Adam's other thread reminded I was trying to look for this picture I found once. Figured it's more appropriate in this thread. I found it to be quite hilarious.

I'd like to point out I am still unimpressed by Mists of Pandaland. I just find that the main complaint being "ZOMG PANDAS!? WTFBBQLOL" is kinda stupid. I'd be more complaining about something like, I dunno, "where the innovation?" or this stupid ass blue post about how they have no fucking clue what they're doing with stat inflation and they're only now attempting to deal with it. At least they finally figured out that this is a problem.

I've seen that image circulating the internet a few times and it is a good one and a fair point.  Honestly I am glad they are adding Pandarin, I feel they belong in WoW more than Worgen and possibly Dranaei do, but to be honest I have 3% interest in playing one at this point.  It's certainly not enough to make me cancel RIFT and get back into WoW, especially not with SWTOR and GW2 on the horizon.

I will say this - I am starting to miss little things about WoW.  Like I miss tanking via a skill like Consecrate or Death and Decay.  They were really fun mechanics for holding AoE aggro and I've yet to find anything like it in RIFT.  I miss having a plate class that can choose between all 3 roles (though RIFT Clerics are a good approximation even though they only wear chain).  I miss that choice of class felt like it had more flavor and meaning to it than it does in RIFT, and I miss that choice of race had flavor and meaning to it beyond how your character looks.  I also miss characters moving their mouths and animating when you talk to them.

Still at this point the list of things I DO NOT miss from WoW is still longer, and the list of things they add from patch to patch, Expac to Expac doesn't really make me want to come back either.
