So as Vergil mentioned before, we have a guild bank.  A guild bank which has been overrun with items.  So many things!

I have been deemed a treasurer of a sorts, and this is how I'd like to run things:

1. Please only put GOLD items in there from this point onward. There are currently some greens in there now, which I will leave for about 2 weeks and then purge.

2. I will be going through on a fairly regular basis (once a week or once every 2 weeks) and purging items if we're hurting for space. If the bank is only 1/2 full, I'll leave things for longer.

3. I have liquidated everything under level 30 except for 2 accessories -- if no one claims these in a week or, I'll sell them too.  I'll try and keep stuff in the bank that is basically level appropriate from here on out.

I don't know if people want me to post about what's in the bank, or if it would be too much for you (when you put something in you think people will really want) to make a quick post in this thread with a quick description (level 60 hammer, AWESOME, etc.).  I feel like people don't regularly check because you have to go to a town and it's kind of out of the way.......if you had an idea before you logged in, would that make a difference?

Also, anything that I sell I put the profits from directly into the bank.  So maybe that money can be used to............buy....cake?  I don't know.

I am also ok if people keep putting food in there -- helps with leveling alts, and most stuff you can auction off for decent prices (if the bank becomes an overstuffed fridge).

I vote that Steph get a new title from the guild.  "Bank Queen" or "Treasure Gnome" or "Madam of Unwanted Shit."

Hell maybe just "Shit Queen?"  That seems legit.

I will gladly give Steph a custom guild rank for saving me the issue of dealing with the guild bank.  Just let me know what you'd like.

Personally, I'm always checking and in town doing some bullshit regularly. However it seems like the guild bank doesn't have much for my thief. I generally try to check just cause there is so much in there! But I know that's not everyone. I don't think some list of it outside of the game would be that helpful.

I vote for "Madam of Unwanted Shit" or "Shit Queen". Shit should be incorporated in some way.

When WoW made their big guild update in some expansion, they added an option when you repaired (and a few other things I thnk) to pull that cash from the guild bank (and of course made sure leaders could hard set the amount you took). I kinda wish GW2 did something similar. I know in WoW you can be rolling in gold in no time and moneys a bit harder to come by in GW2, not to mention guilds working a bit differently, so it'd be more difficult to manage but it'd still be a nice addition.

I guess I don't really have any addition to what to do with the money, maybe something similar? I guess grab cash if you need it and don't feel bad cause it's there for that reason? I think we can trust folks here that someone's not gonna be a douchcanoe and grab all the cash when it's there. But I also know people are far too polite and probably won't grab the cash cause "oh I don't really need it, someone else might need it" and then that someone else is no one and it sits there. *shrug*

Just for the record, I tried  "Madam of Unwanted Shit" this morning.  It's too long.  Shit Queen is not, but as a suggestion assume guild titles can be about two words, about 6 to 8 letters a piece.

Yeah. This would be really nice.  I think if nothing else people should assume they can recover repair costs from guild dungeon runs from the guild bank.  What do people think about financing crafting gear for the guild members using money from the guild bank?
