Tonight and tomorrow night are good for me. Saturday and Sunday are out, though. My folks will be in town Saturday evening and Sunday evening I'll be at the Red Wings/Black Hawks game with the tickets they got me for my birthday.

If you have not read this post about the changes coming to dungeons, do so.  We are going to have to tighten up our catching of people in downed-before-defeated state if we're going to hope to clear some of this content.

I, for one, am really glad for this change.  Any time a game, be it this one or Guild Wars 1, allows you to clear content by "res-rushing" it (or "corpse zerging" as I think we called in WoW) it feels like bad game design to me.

If you don't have time to read it, the TL;DR is coming soon we will no longer be able to use waypoints while defeated if our party is still in combat.  In order to resurrect you'll either need to be raised by a teammate or you'll need to wait until your party leaves combat to use the waypoint.  They claim they have re-balanced events and encounters where their data showed a lot of res-rushing happening so that these encounters should still be do-able without taking advantage of res-rushing.  This is all part of phase 1, and in phase 2 they'll be re-balancing all the bosses and elites so that they are more strategic and memorable, taking a hard look at their health values as well.  Hopefully this will mean that some monsters will see an up in their damage output but a serious drop in HP so they are less slogs, or have more interesting mechanics at play.  I for one would love to see, for example, the last fight of TA remain as is, but see less health on each of the heroes or make them more susceptible to CC so that we can more easily keep them out of harms way while stopping Faolin from ressing one of them.

A.net posted today a blog post on updates to Dynamic Leveling

TL;DR :  Previously they had the math off for how much they reduced your effectiveness when you visited a lower level zone.  This error made higher-level players more powerful in high level zones then they intended.  This issue also scaled down rewards rates in lower level zones so that doing content in lower level zones was less rewarding for high level players than intended.  As of Jan 29th, both of these were adjusted so now higher level players should feel more challenged and more rewarded in zones lower than their level.  Your stats should now be "more in line what character of the appropriate level wearing the same level of gear as you."  So if you show up to a level 25 zone in level 80 w/ exotics, you'd be on par with a level 25 wearing level 25 exotics.

Oh that's nice. I've definitely noticed I have had an easier time in the past when leveled down in lower level zones than in zones that were on my level. This is good to hear, and that they're making it more rewarding to do so as well.
