It's... different.  I'm not sure I'd use the word "better."

She's certainly more of a "thing" now and less of a "short blue person."  The eyes bother me.  The bare mid-drift bothers me. She looks significantly more cutesy/mascoty than she did before. So I mean if that's Riot's goals then cool, mission accomplished I guess. I'm not thrilled by it. She certainly has a higher artistic quality than before, but the design? I dunno.

I will say this, this Tristana has more "energy" especially in her animations, and that is a big improvement.

I haven't had a chance to read all the notes yet, but if that picture of her standing on her cannon is actually her in-game model then this is the first time I've actually thought a yordel looked pretty.

I'm glad that they seem to be taking girl yordle's in direction that looks "yordle-y" and more like they are of the same race as the boys, instead of being just tiny ladies.  She looks pretty cute, might give her another shot, especially with the marking targets thing she's got now.

She certainly now looks more like a yordle as opposed to a megling short blue human. I also sorta agree on the whole showing mid-riff thing since she never had that even in any of her splash screens. At least they don't do it in any of her updated skins.

In other news, bunch of new textura rebalances and upcoming lunar revel skins and a better look at updated Tristana. Nidalee's lunar revel skin looks especially cool despite the fact she already has a ton of skins. I'm a little underwhelmed by Kat's though. Dr. Mundo is lookin- OH DEAR GOD WHAT IS THAT.

...damnit Riot, now I have to buy that Nidalee skin. And WTFMUNDOAHHH!!!

WELP THERE IS A NEW KATARINA SKIN!  WHERE ARE MY RIOT POINTS?!

Also I'm kinda tempted by both the Jinx and Nidalee skins as well.

I think I'm just a little disappointed because she looks almost sad or scared in this art.  I much prefer some of the fan works like these where she looks more both confident and coy, sorta like her voice and lore suggests. 

It's sorta reminds of how much it bugged me in the new cinematic they released last year that Ahri spent most of the video running away and not nearly enough of it taunting targets, blinking around, or blowing people up with spirit orbs (or at least trying to!)

To me it looks more like a powerful indifference look. Like "How cute, a Teemo. I'll kill you and move along" or something.
