This is a long website news post, so I'll give you the breif of it first.
  • Poll's not broken afterall. You just can vote once a day.
  • The Aflac Duck won.  I blame this entirely on Kitty.
  • ShoutIT! may get disabled.
  • New Gallery: Web designs for designs that might not become web pages but were still good designs.
  • Links page might be coming soon.

Feel free to read more or discuss on the forums.

Okay so, it turns out the Poll isn't broken, it's just by default set to allow users to vote once everyday.  While what I can do is set it up so that you have 604,800 seconds between votes (which would be one week) and then never leave a poll up for more than a week, I think I might just allow you to vote once a day.  Knowing that will encourage more voting if people really care about a matter which perhaps will be for the better.

The Aflac Duck won the Poll.  Seeing as it was the only real duck on the poll and I know Kitty likes to keep Ducks as pets, I suspect she did most of the voting for the little insurance mascot.  I guess the only clear thing to do now is have the Aflac Duck face off with the Gieco Gecko.  It might make for a funny poll or spin-off, but it won't save you any money on car insurance.

The message board is proving ShoutIT perhaps useless.  While I don't know that I will uninstall it (so that re-enabling it will be easier) it may get disabled in the next few days.  If you guys still see a clear need/use for it, please let me know.

I have created a new gallery for hosting my web designs.  This has been done in an effort to restore some weight to the "Professional" side of this website, which has been leaning very far to the "Personal" side most of the summer.  Expect to see a few more images up there later this week while I'm logged onto my MATRIX machine.  I also need to give the "Portfolio" thing and my Resume a re-write but, you know, I have some time to do those.

Finally, B'harroth might have struck a deal with me to link to his Warhammer 40,000 message board, but I told him I'd only do so if his board linked to here.  If he managed to pull his end of the bargin, I'll have to set up a links page, so keep your eyes open for that.

Phew!  That should be good for now!
