Grant Writing

A degree in Professional Writing's Communities and Cultures track is an excellent complement to a number of other studies: anthropology, business, human biology, international relations, law, and political science among many others. The job prospects for these students are as varied as their interests. After immersion in the practice of writing across cultures, in public interest and civic discourse, and studying the rhetoric of democracy and cultures around the world students are prepared to apply their superior writing skills to their chosen field as grant writers, proposal writers, or graduate level school, to name only a few possibilities. In this section students can catch a glimpse of the many possible career paths suited to their excellence in communication, rhetorical, and analytical skills.
