What am I looking at right now?

This design, Idle hands 1 uses art from Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition to prototype a few ideas involving background and container divs. Also to get a feel for web development outside the coding practicies of my current employer again. It\'s as much a photoshop excersize as it is one in HTML/CSS coding.

This design, Idle hands 2 uses a photo of a planet from space and a little art from the Metroid games to test out getting large background images and glowing content areas to work together. The large background image test went well... the glowing content area didn't and ultimately I had to abandon it. I'll have to try that another time.

This design is attempting to achieve a drop shadow effect with complex image backgrounds on an EM-based design. As of time of writing, I didn't have it down just yet.... but we're getting there...

Developers Log 6/9/2009: Serious progress in em-based background positioning. However, the site still doesn't behave like I need it to on a zoom-in or out, either on "true zoom" browsers like FireFox3 or traditional text-altering size ones like Safari.
